Commercial Water Softening

Are you experiencing higher operational costs or reduced performance due to limescale build up in your equipment? Commercial water softening could help.

When water is ‘hard’, it contains a higher concentration of minerals such as calcium and magnesium vs. softer water.

Ultraviolet Filtration

If your home or business relies on an alternative water source such as a borehole, private well, reservoir or lake – you will need to ensure that your water is treated to a safe condition.

UV filtration is the recommended practice for this and will ensure that your water meets Government standards set out in the Private Water Supplies Regulations 2016.

At Mawdsleys Pump Services, we can analyse your water and offer advice on the correct Filtration system to ensure your water meets government standards. We can then provide a quotation to price for the UV filtration needed with any media requirements and additional filtration systems necessary and the cost of installation.

Finally, our qualified engineer will then install the system and provide guidance on maintenance and how best to maintain the system.

UV Filtration System Servicing

In addition to our installation service, we can offer six monthly or annual servicing to keep your filtration system in good working order. Our servicing includes replacing UV lights, replacing filters and inspecting / cleaning quartz sleeves.

Water Filtration

The presence of certain contaminants found in water supplies can make it unfit for purpose. Fortunately, water filters are available that can remove these.

For example, water that comes from a borehole or well will usually have a pH of less than 7 (acidic), meaning it could cause staining and corrosion.
