Hoddesdon Town F.C. was established in 1879, making it one of Hertfordshire’s oldest clubs. Currently
playing in the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands League, the Club takes great pride in having been the first ever winners of the FA Challenge Vase in 1975 (the only Spartan League club ever to have achieved such an accolade).

Stadium at Lowfield, sharing the ground with Hoddesdon Cricket Club, With a very rich and interesting tradition built up over 135 years.
Recently, Hoddesdon Town FC Received a grant for ground improvements and some of the grant money was spent on irrigation for the pitch. Hoddesdon Town FC decided to purchase 2 x LRI 25 Portable Irrigation systems from Mawdsleys Pump Services , to provide the full pitch with water, as and when required, these units will assist in pitch care, maintenance and grass growth through the drier/sunnier months, helping the team secure further promotion in the future.
