Mr Emery contacted Mawdsleys as a referral from a friend and client of Mawdsleys. Mawdsleys attended site to ascertain issues and customer concerns over his sewage pumping station at his private address.
Mawdsleys reviewed the situation with the failing pump station and organised an engineer visit to run the system and go through multiple checks to establish what the main problem with the system was.
Mawdsleys provided the customer with a report detailing an affordable solution to bring the pumping station back on line and functioning as specified and required. The report detailed the failing of internal pipe work and valves causing the pump to run inefficiently.
All pipe work within the chamber was heavily corroded and the valves were not holding and passing waste water back into the system.
The report and quotation was accepted by Mr Emery and the parts ordered and works scheduled, Mawdsleys engineers then attended site on an agreed day and commenced the works.
The works involved confined space entry to enter the chamber and remove and replace all pipe work and 3” valves. After assembling and installing the new pipe work and valves, the system was tested thoroughly and found to be working perfectly and all issues resolved.
The works were signed off as complete by Mr Emery after completing a visual inspection of the new pipe work and valves; Mr Emery settled his account and remains an extremely happy customer.
It’s not often we receive a handwritten letter, but we think its certainly a sign of a happy customer and appreciate the time taken by Mr Emery to write to us. The note read:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mawdsleys for the wonderful service they gave me regarding my pumping station and thank your sales director for help in arranging your engineer Stuart to visit the site and advise me what needs to be done off which he found that a valve was not working.
And for the work to be carried out with all necessary pipe work and electrical, again I would like to thank Mawdsleys for a very clean and superb job, and once again to thank all the staff at Mawdsleys.”
Following works completed, Mawdsleys now has a cyclic maintenance contract to service and maintain the equipment long into the future.
